The opening photo is the last of the sequence, showing an interesting cloud pattern. The rest are from the beginning and middle of the progression--which took about seven minutes all together.

Photo notes: Taken at around 7 pm, 28 February 2010, with the Nikon D80.
Love those salmon/pink tones at sunset.

Candace: What a neat progression of photos with a colorful sky.
ReplyDeleteWonderful captures, Candace! Such lovely colors and all the dark trees silhouetted against the soft colors is breathtaking! What a terrific series of shots! Love them! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Candace, they're not spectacular for you! For others (me, for example) they're glorious! I love the second shot - so different to the rest - the day awakening.
ReplyDeleteNot sure where you are in the weekend but I hope you are enjoying your well-deserved respite from the rigours and demands of work.
Pretty colours in your sky this week, guess that is the fun with Sky Watch Friday is that in the middle of any average day there is a little moment of pretty just waiting to be discovered.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, wonderful colors...it's been so gray here too...today was the first fully sunny day in weeks!
ReplyDeleteIt's very beautiful! Happy weekend!
